Registration is realtime and requires the company registration number or personal identification number of the owner to be present in the owner handle.
Note that for entities based in Spain, the registry will strictly check the province included in the handle.Transfer procedure:
A transfer of a .es domain follows the steps as described below:
The domain owner receives an e-mail from the registry to approve the domain transfer. This approval should be given within 10 days.
After a transfer, the expiration date remains unchanged. The transfer will be free of charge, but take care of a possible quick renewal.

Update procedure
Updates to domain data or contact data can take up to 24 hours to be processed by the registry. The e-mail address of a contact can not be changed; if you need to change the e-mail address, a trade to a new contact is required.
Delete procedure
When a domain is deleted the admin contact will receive an e-mail that needs to be approved. He has 10 days to approve the deletion otherwise the domain will renew automatically
Reactivation procedure
A domain can be reactivated 10 days after deletion of the domain name.
